John Wilkinson, age 58 years, died last night at his home in New Market. He has been an invalid for two years and his death was due to a complication of diseases. The deceased served his country well in the late war and was a member of McPherson Post GAR. The funeral occurs at the New Market Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow Rev. Fuson officiating. Quite a numbe rof the GAR will attend the funeral, weather permitting. The interment will be at the Presbyterian Cemetery. - typed by kbz
